About ilya osinchuk

Hello! My name is Osinchuk Ilya. I am a photographer from Russia and I enjoy film shooting. In my arsenal a large set of various Pentax. Medium and small formats for all needs and stories. In my works and series of photographs I try to find and formulate the simplest truth that always lies on the surface, but so often escapes the view of the inhabitant. By simple and clear visual language I’am researching questions of loneliness and perpetual wanderings, social stratification and transformation of society, development of science and widespread poverty. Expressing my own vision of the world through photography I use ordinary objects around me, as the heroes of photo stories. Traction to simple and clear things in the frame makes shots minimalistic and not requiring overly extensive and complex interpretation.
Separately, in my works, one can single out the themes of marginalization cities and their inhabitants. Primarily I’am interested in documentary evidence frames with sharp contrasts, verified geometry and straightness of the plot. However, in some photos you can see a clear mysticism inspired by the large industrial objects that I portray in the style of the temples of technocracy and the idols of progress.
